Consider this:

Relatively small companies will make sophomoric decisions in advertising and marketing, such as distributing free T-shirts to the public.

I'm sure many people have thought of this already, and soon there will be a nodeshell (if not already) titled "Your radical ideas about marketing have already occured to others," but free T-shirts are produced to fit the largest of the large. Standing at only 5'4" and weighing not even 100 pounds, these shirts usually flow down to my knees and look rather ridiculous on me. If the average female is somewhere between 5'4" and 5'6" (I am assuming this statistic is based on American women and not including Amazon women), are companies really only attracting tall men with broad shoulders?

Is it really that people of this stature should wear these shirts and create awe in smaller people, apparently in the minds of marketers, who are more prone to being influenced by image? Is this propaganda or am I just reading into it too much?
