according to hacker lore, the man who lent his initials (MZ) to the header section of MS-DOS (and now Windows) executables. (he was one of the principle architects of MS-DOS 2.0, so it seems likely, but I don't know that it has ever been publicly stated as being fact.)

apparently still works at Microsoft (markz@microsoft.com), although he seems to be associated with Artifice, Inc, which produces DesignWorkshop, an architectural modeler and renderer.
