Marble Squares
Ingredients:
1/2 cup
margarine
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 1-oz. square
unsweetened chocolate
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup
sour cream
8 -oz cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
sweet chocolate pieces (pick out your favourite)
Instructions
Combine the margarine, water and chocolate in a pan and bring to boil.
Remove from heat and stir in flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add eggs and
sour cream and mix well. Pour in greased pan.
Combine cream cheese and sugar and mix. Blend in egg. Spoon over chocolate
batter. Use a knife to create a marble effect, sprinkle with chocolate pieces.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 minutes.
