Borders are ill-defined, but seems to be between Sunrise Avenue (North), State Highway 1 (West), Kowhai Road (South) and the Hauraki Gulf (East).

In my opinion, one of most pleasant bays in the East Coast Bays, simply because there are things within walking distance...

• the Mairangi Bay
• small shopping centre
• Rangitoto College
• McDonalds, KFC, Wendy's and other symbols of Capitalist Homogenisation
• Bowls Club
• Sweeping vistas of... 70's housing
• Mikkel

• Large sign, visible from space, saying "Mikkel nodes here."
• Escalators on hills
