A city of West-Central Washington about 10 miles North of Seattle. This dim little burg exemplifies suburban blight. It is choked with strip malls and several brand new Starbucks. Sidewalks are a rarity. The only way to get from point A to point B - no matter how close together they are - is to drive, preferably in a pinto or pacer or (for the well-healed) an early 90s model cadilac.

The 1990 census attaches 28,695 poor souls to Lynnwood and tells us it is 18 sq km in size.
