During the 1980s and early 1990s, an NFL franchise in Los Angeles, California. Before and after this time period, played and now play in Oakland, CA as the Oakland Raiders.

Known for their Back in Black marketing/attitude, encouraged by renegade owner Al Davis. Also hired the first black head coach in the NFL, Art Shell.
