A magazine spun off from PC Format by Future Publishing. In fact, the magazine is edited by a PC Format veteran, Nick Veitch. Unsurprisingly, it is about the free Linux operating system.

The magazine usually includes a hell of a lot of software on DVD as a coverdisc, and has features on more than just Linux-it recently had a tutorial on CSS, a feature on copy-protected CDs and PHP programming. It also has lots of newbie-friendly tutorials, as well as stuff for the seasoned user.

It's available in all good newsagents for £6.49 (for the DVD edition).
