Li Yu

Li Yu (937-978) was the last ruler of the Southern Tang dynasty. He was defeated at his capital in Nanjing and taken captive, living out the rest of his unhappy life at Kaifeng. However, he was an excellent ci writer. Since this biography is so short, I'll include the names of noded poems below:

Poetry of Li Yu
- Strangers in Saint's Coif
- Joy in the Oriole's Flight
- Happiness of Meeting
- Night Crow Calling
