Lawndale, California is definitely not the same Lawndale as in the MTV series, Daria. The real Lawndale is a working class suburb of Los Angeles with a population of approximately 30,000 people. The city is mostly single-family homes and small apartment complexes, with some retail stores and light industry. The city's official website can be found at:
