A silly English saying that goes "When you're looking for something, its always in the last place you looked.

Well, obviously, why the hell would you carry on looking ?!?

I actually once kept on looking even after I found my quarry, just so I could say that once it was not in the last place I looked.

This does not necessarily speak well of me.
