A beautiful lake in central Washington State. It's the third deepest in the nation, with a maximum depth of 1486 feet, and 55 miles long. The bottom 400 feet of the lake are actually below sea level. It is also considered one of the cleanest lakes in North America

The lake is divided into two basins, the Entiat basin and the Wapato basin I believe. They meet at The Narrows. Past the southern quarter of the lake there are no roads along its sides, and the only available transportation is by private boat, floatplane, or The Lady of the Lake, a ferry service operated out of Chelan.
