"Gosset la Gachette" (Trigger-happy Gosset)

Dunno much about this story
All I know is that on a November night
There was a guy who
Maybe didn't care
And calmly decided
To make him understand
With the sight
Of his instrument of pain
He put lead in the head
Of a man of colour
He exposed his premeditated hatred
And without hesitation
He used but his weapon

Man of Law
Who is no longer trustworthy
There are many
Who have seen it all
By way of this crime
Has all but proven
The occupying racism
Of our society
Organized, protected
By this corrupt justice

Abuse of power as homicide
You'll see he calls the shots
He's got his shield for protection
The other guy was just a black anyway

He looked all confounded
Behind the accused's bench
As if he didn't know
The verdict of the jury, NOT GUILTY
Unknowingly, all they did
Was to answer to the System
It's the censored's way
Of telling them we love you
Be it as it may
All he did is remind me
That there are people
That still go 'hunting for niggers'

"Gosset la Gachette"
Would be a nice nickname
Maybe it'd be better
To forget his name
I didn't do this to tell
His trials and tribulations
Just a couple of verses
To give us hope once again

Lucky bastard
It won't play on the radio
But you betcha I'll sing it
In all my shows
