KLCC is also one of the oldest public radio stations in the country. the LCC stands for
Lane Community College, where the station is located (near
Eugene).
It has a broadcast range running from the Oregon coast in the west to
Salem in the north, from
Bend in the east to
Roseburg in the south.
Runs a mix of
NPR, jazz and other music programs as well as local news and community programming. Where I cut my journalistic teeth.
