Kenmore Square is a green line T stop, an intersection of three major roads (Commonwealth Avenue, Beacon Street and Brookline Avenue) and a place where you can find a few remaining stores, restaurants and bars (see: the Hole that is Kenmore Square), as well as hotels and some colleges: BU for one, New England School of Photography is another. Also known as the home of the Red Sox, the Citgo Sign, and a very large Barnes and Noble bookstore. Once a year you can catch the Boston Marathon running through and at any other time throughout the year, insane pedestrians trying to cross the streets.
