Ken Alibek was, from 1975 to 1992, a designer of biological weapons for the former Soviet Union (and Deupty Chief of the agency in charge of the development of such weapons from 1988 until 1992). He defected to the United States in 1992, and since arriving here, he's published "Biohazard", a memoir of his career in biowarfare.
