Pronounced KAM-ZEE. An acronym for Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center. Intended to be a school for mathematically and scientifically gifted high school students to take math and science courses at while taking the remainder of their classes at their regular school.
Results in highly confusing schedules. Has a very inadequate admissions procedure that eliminates some very talented students and accepts others (possibly on the basis of race, via Affirmative Action).
