K-jofol was the first computer mp3 player to have freeform skinning. It was also the first to have built in support for the vqf sound format developed by Yamaha. It was developed by a man known as r0n of the Aegis Corporation, the same organization that produced Litestep, an alternative ui for Windows. Sadly, development K-jofol has ended. r0n had joined the Winamp coding staff, and there are no more planned releases of K-Jofol. It is possible that this is due in part to Sonique, another mp3 player with freeform skins. It is much harder to skin, but has a higher "coolness" factor.
