  • is a great material for making macrame belts. It is very strong and adds a lovely green accent to the blandness of most macrame materials which are generally some form of beige or brown.
  • is not soft and will likely cause a rash if it gets in contact with bare skin for any length of time. This is why its macrame possibilities are limitted to belts, wall hangings or plant holders as opposed to jewelry worn close to the body.
  • can be purchased at your local hardware store.
  • is a practical choice of rope for tying large objects to the top of your car, such as a mattress or an oversized piece of plywood.
  • is hard to rip with your bare hands but easily cut with scissors or a sharp rock.
