Summer has finally turned the corner
Not so much halfway, but far enough along that I can see the end of it, and that is far enough for me. I am more than ready to be done with the whole of it, even though I know it is weeks away. But I write that with a certain amount of satisfaction-- weeks, as opposed to months.
I am one of those folk who look forward to Autumn in May. While others count the days till spring, I am waiting and watching for the days finally lessen and enjoy each and every decrease.
September cannot get here soon enough, and the Heat will only make the cool mornings of October that much sweeter.
When everybody in North America turns off their AC and gets back to breathing fresh air you can thank me.
