In the world of
Batman Beyond, the original Joker has long since passed away, however his
memory and a very poor version of his
legacy lives on in the biker gang The Jokerz.
A group of
young punks who all wear
pancake makeup and follow the leader who dresses in a futuristic version of a zoot suit styled after the Jokers typical fashion, the Jokerz are usually nothing more than
thugs, harrassing
Terry Mcginnis and his girlfriend
Dana Tan, committing smalltime crimes and riding their motorcycles around
Gotham.
The only exception to these normal Jokerz are the special gang that appeared in
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Consisting of
Bonk,
DeeDee,
Chucko,
Woof and
Ghoul. These new Jokerz members join forces with the true Joker after his return to Gotham and serve as his
henchmen, helping him to achieve his master plan.
