John Hopoate was a Rugby League player for Wests Tigers.
He was suspended for twelve weeks for "bad conduct", viz: sticking his
finger up opposing players backsides while tackling them. On April 1, 2001, he resigned
from the club rather than being sacked by the Wests Tigers Board.
