"Java Jive" is a song that appears on almost all of The Manhattan Transfer's recordings. It's a very silly song about coffee and caffeinated beverages. It's also a good song, especially the fairly slow version on the album "Swing".

This song, like many pieces originally done by The Manhattan Transfer, is also a perennial favorite of cheesy high school show choirs. This could be because its gooey, irritating melody helps to further strengthen the notion that show choir kids are all big dorks.
