Probably the world's greatest female athlete and winner of six Olympic medals (three gold) in track & field. A UCLA grad, Jackie's brother Al is widower to the late Florence Griffith Joyner, another track and field superstar. In spite of suffering from asthma, Jackie had consistently raised the bar for female athletes until her retirement from professional competition in 1998.
