The first Red Dwarf book, written by Grant Naylor. For the most part, it chronicles the first season of the television show, with a few extras including how Dave Lister ended up joining the Jupiter Mining Corporation and how he first met Arnold Rimmer. I suggest you buy it and read it. The sequel is titled Better than Life.
