IBM has this incredible ability to come out with product lines that are completely
incompatible on the
hardware level. My favorite example is that
IBM Aptivas are almost completely unable to connect to an
IBM Token Ring network. Me being
ResNet and all, this makes my life oh so very
pleasant.
It has also gotten them a horde of angry parents who bought their little Marist Students high-end Aptivas that are now near-useless. :-)
