I really have to do you now

You want honesty in dating? (See what happens when you tell a girl you'll call and you don't) How does this strike you? As a pick-up line, probably not something you turn to your SO of several years and say at the end of a romantic evening.

A friend of mine claims to have 'done' twelve women while in Denver on vacation, using only these seven simple words to convince them. ..Of course, he later admitted to being a bald faced liar, but it's still interesting to think about.

What if people really spoke like this to one another? It would be great for population control. And when and if people actually engaged in a sex act, they could truly say they were consenting adults, having been allowed no illusions about what the act might mean or lead to. (Again, see what happens when you tell a girl you'll call and you don't) We don't need a Hallmark world. We need a world where people say what they mean and make no promises save those they have every intention of keeping.

If a boy were to say this to almost any girl, even after he'd charmed her socks off, he'd get slapped. And why? It's a silly double standard (though it's probably equally silly that most boys would wet themselves in excitement if someone said the same thing).

My point is only that it's silly to be coy, play hard to get, whatever you want to call it. Just as it's silly to come on too strong, too fast. Rather, there should be a happy medium based on honesty and people's voluntary admission that, yeah, sex is fun.

Games with semantics, games based on gender. The acceptability of various forms of expressions of carnal interest based on gender. All of these things are pretty fucked up. Look below the surface and laugh at why!

Confused kiddies and adults carrying around the albatross of sexual taboo, and wanting to throw off the stinking corpse, needing to shock, needing to reject all the bullshit drummed into their flexible, formative little brains before they had a chance to form a clear thought of their own.

All the wanting, the pure hormonal desire, the macho bullshit injected straight into the vein by friends in exactly the same boat, who lie just as much as you do about scored this, and fucked that. The presentations of free easy sex are ever present, yet simultaneously denied as real. Titillation of absurdly cynical intent, designed to sell a few cars, some shitty shoes and keep Hollywood's sick heart pumping the poison. Then it all gets condensed down to:
Sex is something that girls prevent you from having, when it's your god given right and necessity to 'get some'!

...and we wonder why sex is something that idiots think you 'do' to someone.

The girls get shot at in special ways. Save it for the right one, it's precious, my precious. The hymen as proof of virtue and truth. It's not about pleasure, it's about not 'giving it up' too easily, it's about commitment. 'Cause baby, you got something, and that guy wants it. The guy who wants 'to do you'. Add some more hangups to that girl, she still has some room!

Kids too scared or stupid to buy contraceptives. Parents hoping the whole issue will just go away, or that schools will tell kids what to do? Schools? Is responsibility to be soon erased from the dictionary, and replaced with the words "it's not my.."? Just say no kids, it worked for your parents. You know, the Dad who lives two days drive from your Mum, who is desperately seeking some much needed fulfillment in the last quarter of her life.

We will be perpetuating a 'laugh till you cry' version of sex long after bad or intentionally offensive pick up lines are a thing of the past. Let the dating games begin. It might be easier if people could just be fucking truthful. Please form two lines - contestants in it for fun, and those who are after a serious life commitment of mutual satisfaction and companionship well into old age. Fewer people get hurt when the recreational and professional athletes have seperate events.
