This phrase, or variations on it, has been used by different characters (such as Han Solo or young Obi-Wan Kenobi) in almost every Star Wars movie so far. Whether this repetition is unintentional or actually some sort of running gag on the part of Lucas is uncertain--but it is one of the most-parodied lines in the Star Wars films.
