The Hutt species is one of the better known Star Wars species. They originated from the swampland planet of Nal Hutta Varl. Hutts are 3 or more meters long and have oily skin. They usually have small yellow or red eyes. They also have two small arms, and there diet consists of meat and vegetables.

Some Hutts believe that their planet once had two suns that they believed to be gods. In the legend it says that one of the suns, named Enova, was drawn into a black hole. And the other was so mad it released its gaseous shell, destroying all plants on the planets surface.

One of the well-known Hutts is Jabba the Hutt, who was well known throughout the Galaxy because of his large slavery, gunrunning, and spice-smuggling business.
