Good way to keep people from calling your house. Usually used when a teacher or someone else who can get you in shit is going to call. Two ways to do this, one is taking a phone extension cord of some sort, cutting off all but one inch and the plug, and tying all the wires together. The second way is to go down to the NAD box in your basement or outside your house and twist the wires together. This results in a completley silent line which does not ring or have any abilty to dial, which may be detrimental.
