No doubt, the title of the Lenny Bruce autobiography is a parody of How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

In it (Bruce's book, not Carnegie's) he demonstrates his influence on American Culture by being one of the first to publicly discuss such taboo subjects like sex, racism, religion and censorship.
