The main island of Japan. Tokyo is on this island. It is also the largest of the Japanese islands.

The island of Honshu is divided into 5 different regions (called chihou which are in turn further divided into smaller prefectures.
(regions listed from farthest west to east):

Chugoku
Kinki
Chubu
Kanto
Tohoku
