An automobile manufactured by General Motors-Holden/GMH (Australia).

Began with the VB Commodore in 1978, followed by the VC, VK which all retained the same general appearance. The following model, the VL was the first model to run on unleaded fuel (in fact deploying a Nissan engine) and featured a turbocharged six cylinder engine as an option. The next model was the VN. This was also re-badged and sold by Toyota as a " Lexcen". The VN was Australia's most popular car in 1990 and 1991.

The current model is the VY Commodore, which is the successor to the VX, VT, VS, VR and VP models.
