1. To cheat one's accomplices by withholding portions of loot. 2. To keep secret; to wthhold, as information. 3. To refuse to divulge information under police pressure. 4. To conceal one's tobacco, extra food, etc. in order to avoid sharing it with others. "Everytime I put the bite on you (ask you for something), you ain't holding nothing.
