Hem`i*al"bu"mose` (?), n. [Hemi- + albumose.] Physiol. Chem.

An albuminous substance formed in gastric digestion, and by the action of boiling dilute acids on albumin. It is readily convertible into hemipeptone. Called also hemialbumin.
