An excellent alternative rock group formed in 1994 by four University of Washington students: Sean Nelson (vocals), Jeff Lin (guitar), Aaron Huffman (bass) and Evan Sult (drums). Their first album is called Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? (1997). The band achived fame in 1998 by the popularization of their single Flagpole Sitta. They also created a very good cover of Save it for Later for the soundtrack of the movie 200 Cigarettes and another single Sometimes You Have to Work on Christmas (Sometimes).

The house featured as the cover art for Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? is the first house the band lived in together, from sometime in 1994 to 1995. The band built a practice space in the basement, where they would practice and alienate all of the neighbors for blocks around.

Harvey Danger released their second album, King James Version on September 12, 2000.
