A Hall of Counters, known by most as an HoC, is a listing that shows the number of counts each counter in a collaborative count have done. Perhaps the best known Hall of Counters (HoC) is the one done for the counters in the Reddit subreddit /r/counting.

The original HoC was created by Redditor rschaosid in 2015. Counters wait eagerly for each update of the HoC, done usually every other day. The goal of many counters is to rise in the ranks of the HoC, some with a goal of being in the TOP 20 or TOP 10 or higher on the list. When one counter overtakes another counter in number of counts causing them to move down a rank, it's referred to as 'knocking' the other person.

The #1 counter on the /r/counting HoC for most of it's 4 1/2 year history has been Redditor atomicimploder who became #1 of all time in 2014, he was 'knocked' in late 2016 by his fellow counter Davidjl123.
