Unofficial name of the Montreal Canadiens (usage: Go Habs! Go!) which comes from "Habitants" which some believe to be what the 'H' truly stands for in the Canadiens' logo. Most of the first players for the Canadiens lived in farms and therefore nicknamed "habitants" which was used to denote the farmers of Quebec.

Others believe that the 'H' stands for "Hockey" as the original name of the team was "Club de Hockey Canadien" (Canadian Hockey Club).
