Ground Beef and Rice Bake
Serves 4

1 1/2 c. Uncooked regular rice
1 lb. Ground beef
3 c. Water
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup (Cream of Celery may be substituted.)
1/2 c. Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
Spices (My personal choices here are Seasoning Salt, Garlic Powder, Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb, and Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb.)

Put water in a pan, sprinkle salt into the water, and put over a medium-high heat. Heat until boiling and add uncooked rice. Lower the heat and cover. Cook rice for approx. 20 minutes. Rice is done when most of the water is absorbed - be careful not to scortch the rice to the pan. Add spices to taste.

Cook ground beef in a skillet. Add spices to taste. Drain the excess grease from the meat. Set meat aside.

Open the can of soup and put into a bowl. Pour in milk and wisk together with soup until mostly smooth.

Combine rice, meat, and soup. Mix well. Place mixture into a baking pan and cover with foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.

Optional - Replace final step with: Place over medium-low heat until warmed through.
