The Great Lakes Valley Conference, GLVC, is a NCAA Division II conference. It was formed in 1978 as a basketball conference. In the 1990s it expanded and added other sports. The member institutions compete in basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, volleyball, and more.
