Grace under fire

A military saying, used an attribute, as in "Sgt. Limshaw has real grace under fire". The meaning is that said person is calm, cool and collected even in stressful situations.

Grace = Good natured, under fire = under attack (gunfire).

It was also the name of (now defunct) sitcom starring Brett Butler, but I'll let someone else node the details about that.
