Quite possibly the most well-known spirit organization on the Texas Tech University campus. The 400+ member strong band performs at every home game of the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and travels to 2 away games per year.
The Goin' Band was the first spirit organization on the Tech Campus after it opened it's doors for the first time in 1925. Through the years under the direction W.H. Waghorne, Harry Lemaire, Dean Killion, James Sudduth, and now Mr. Keith Bearden, the Goin' Band has grown in size from less than 30 members to over 400.
Using stereophonic sound, the Goin' Band amazes the audience with intricate designs and powerful music.
