Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. The ugly half of the 70s British nerdrockband 10cc. They were also the genius half, though saying that would be quite unfair to the great Graham Gouldman (who could also be ugly, on a bad day). They left the band&to pursue solo stuff, at first just music and a guitar attachment called The Gizmo. They branched out into music video and were often trendsetters in the early years of MTV - e.g. the robotic "Rockit", and the morph-kludges of "Cry".
