This Magic: the Gathering card was the inspiration for David Drake's short story Airborne all the way! which tells the story of the Brigade's part in a red magic assault on a force of white magic troops. It's a funny story, as much for Drake's not-so-subtle digs at the Wizards of the Coast's political correctness guidelines as anything.

The card shows several goblins in a lighter than air balloon, dropping rocks onto the heads of their enemies. One goblin wonders aloud how they will get down again afterward.

The story appears in a Magic: the Gathering collection and also in Drake's excellent All the way to the Gallows collection.
