A small internet company started by a group of three New Englanders. It was initially designed to be a moneymaker; exploiting the fragile, shifting, confused personalities of many Junior/High School aged teenie-boppers by posting to a web page tongue-in-cheek articles about teenage life and love. One hope was to encourage the clients to realize that the page's ideas were truly full of shit and so were most of the ideals and trends set out by popular culture; trying to create free thinkers.

As with most idealistic ventures, GlitterNet folded when the creators realized that the general public was much stupider than they were initially given credit for.
