Gerald Jay Sussman is an insane genius. He is one of the inventors of the Scheme programming language and co-author of Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, both of which strongly reflect his obsession with recursion. He is currently working on amorphous computing and a new book, Structure and Interpretation of Computational Physics. He is an all-round genius.
