This is the last of the Gekijouban Yokoku (movie trailers) featured on Neon Genesis Evangelion Addition, it is also the last track on that album (track 13). Like Gekijouban Yokoku - Misato Katsuragi and Gekijouban Yokoku - Rei Ayanami this trailer, which only runs for 30 seconds, was produced to promote the movie Evangelion: Death and Rebirth. Track 23 "Jikai Yokoku" from Neon Genesis Evangelion OST 2 (the same track that is played during Misato's trailer) is played while Miyamura Yuuko speaks from Asuka's perspective. The "young boy" and "young girl" she refers to are obviously Shinji and Asuka respectively.

Gekijouban Yokoku (Asuka Langley Sohryu)(Movie Trailer (Asuka Langley Sohryu))

Spoken By: Miyamura Yuuko (Asuka's seiyuu)
Romanization/Translation: Takayama Miyuki

Format: Japanese Romaji followed by the English Translation

A young boy is hurt by being touched by sympathy
A young girl is broken by a distorting loneliness
The Eva Series descends from the Heavens with a retribution that hurt people
Will Asuka, whose ego has collapsed, be able to rise up again?
What does Shinji, who has rejected everything, look on with pleasure?
Do those who still survive have a meaning to their lives?
