A made-up word from
Star Control 2. The alien race called the
Orz had thought processes so different from
humans that translating their speech was a terribly difficult task. The resulting speech was a combination of horribly
mixed metaphors and unknown words. Here's a sample:
"Yes. *Difficulty*. *Problems* are *difficult*. *Spicy* *games* are always *fun*."
"Frumple" simply caught on, as humans started using it as a swear word (sort of like Red Dwarf's infamous "smeg"). It's not uncommon to hear a devout Star Control 2 fan say something like "I don't give a flying frumple!"
