Friedrich August Von Hayek (1899-1992) : Austrian-born British economist, Nobel prize winner in 1974. An embodiment of right-wing liberalism.

He explicitly described any kind of government intervention in economy as a Bad Thing. His central idea was that such a practice was bound to lead to dictature, in the same way as in post-WWI Germany. He explained this in his most famous work : the book "The Road to Serfdom".
