Britain, Fox Kids is owned by
Sky Television, which is a subsidiary of
News Corporation (owners of
Fox...) and resides on
NTL,
Telewest and
digital satellite. They also recently opened a
+1 channel, which is the same programmes, just one hour later. Apparently this is for the
convenience of the viewers, although it seems the main purpose is to
fleece advertisers through claiming double fees. The picture quality seems to degrade slightly also on the +1.
Fox Kids output seems to be divided into the following areas:
Apparently in
the Netherlands Fox Kids obtains around a 50%
audience share among the kids channels, which proves that
8 year olds will watch anything.
