The codename of Apple's MacOS 9.1. It follows the same "musical" codenames as other releases of the operating system (Sonata, Allegro, Gershwin, and Copland for example).

In dynamics music notation, fortissimo is abbreviated 'ff' and indicates that the music from that point on should be very loud. The word means "very loudly" in Italian.
